Danica's Home Project

Thank you Danica for teaching us all about the TITANIC today!  Your trifold, books, pictures and information certainly hooked the students.
This was a topic of great interest and enthusiasm.... It was really exciting to see how much the students knew and wanted to know.  Thanks for making history come alive for us!!!

Brrr!  The Grade One Team enjoyed a lovely but quick winter walk today as part of our Science "Seasonal Challenges" inquiry.  It was a beautiful frosty visit and the Hawkwood Ravine was the perfect place to identify animal tracks, see what the plants, trees and grass are doing.

The Alberta blue sky, migrating geese, low winter sun and bundled up students gave us a strong idea of what the season of winter is offering us and comparing that to the season of Autumn.
Some pretty big changes!

Check out our winter class slideshow...
