Orange Shirt Day

Orange Shirt Day-September 30th
Every child matters!

Thank you families for dressing for the crazy Calgary weather!  Your children arrived today on-time with labelled boots, coats, mitts, hats, snow-pants, scarves and... orange shirts!  Well done!

A HUGE thank you for packing those recess snacks in a quick easy side pouch/zipper.  It makes getting all bundled up worth it when your child can easily access a snack without having to open up a lunch-kit or go digging through a bottom-less pit of a backpack.

Reminders:
Library book exchange and book orders due Tuesday, October 1st

Leaf Critters and Leaf Inquiry

Wearing our Autumn Colours...

We read "Leaf Man" by Lois Ehlert &"Look What I Did With A Leaf"by Morteza E. Sohi and designed our own unique leaf critters.   We are proud of our leaf critters!

We followed that up with some leaf reporting using our mathematical skills and scientific inquiry.
Thank you for all the variety of leaves and Autumn donations!

Tomorrow we will be counting our leaves by 1's/2's/5's/10's
