Sleepy Santa Day 2019 - In our cozy PJ's by the Christmas Tree and roaring fire!

Tomorrow is our last day of school in 2019!  
School-wide caroling and our Movie Class Party in the afternoon. 
Special snacks/treats welcome... Bring water bottle too!

Report cards coming home at the end of the day. 
Parents: Please sign off on the RC envelope and return in January to use for the June 2020 reports.

Sam Effah Visit-Tokyo 2020 Bound..

Sam came to talk to the school today about Olympic dreams, perseverance, competing in the Amazing Race, rising to challenges, setting goals and to try your BEST!

He talked about his years growing up at Hawkwood School.

"Sam-Sam"-Mrs. Campanelli's nickname for him was one of her ex-students at Hawkwood School!

Class PJ Day and YYC Landmarks

   Our class earned a PJ Day and Santa/Elf Hat Day today!

We were Jr Architects today building and designing our YYC landmarks in our PJ's.  Mrs. Campanelli thinks we ALL would get so much more done if we could all go to work in our PJ's! A BIG thank you to Scarlett's Mom for volunteering on a very BUSY morning!  LOL

As Jr. Architects we created a blueprint and had it approved by "Mayor Nenshi".  We sorted all the building materials and started building and designing our YYC Landmark.

APPROVED... 😀

And now... Next steps.... Architects take the long weekend off to recover after all that building and designing.  We will attach our Logos on Monday and celebrate our landmarks!
